Project Purpose

The Roles

1. Finance Officer (PROACT) – Abuja
TEAM PURPOSE: To deliver Oxfam’s strategic and operational emergency/resilient food security and livelihood priorities in Nigeria and ensure innovative and quality programme which is shared within Nigeria, the West Africa Region and beyond.

The Finance Officer will support the delivery of all financial management functions according to Oxfam Financial Manual, including but not limited to petty cash management, timesheets recording, monthly payroll processing and the monitoring of financial activities and requirements as they relate specifically to Oxfam’s relationship with partner organizations. S/he will check all expense supporting documentation to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and related law, prior to obtaining approvals and payment processing.  S/he will work with the PROACT Finance Manager to coordinate and act as a focal point for issues relating to finance for the PROACT project.

2. Head of Programs (HoP) - Abuja

The Head of Programs is a key member of the Senior Management Team. The position’s primary responsibility includes the strategic development and management of the country program. S/he supports Oxfam’s impact locally, regionally, and globally through ensuring program alignment to the key strategic objectives and program standards. S/he provides oversight for all program budgets and expenditure – over EUR 15m a year. The Head of Programs collaborates with the Head of Influencing and Public engagement on policy and campaign issues.

3.  Head of Finance & Administration (BSM) - Abuja

This is a key role on the Senior Management Team and will provide financial and risk management service to Oxfam Country Office in Nigeria by developing business intelligence that supports program decisions and performance management. The job holder will provide strategic overview and management of Finance, Procurement & Logistics and Information Communication & Technology; leading on business process reengineering initiatives that will ensure appropriate integration with user departments. The job holder will reinforce value for money criteria in close cooperation with the program and management units.
